Recently, Denza Motors officially announced that its new sedan will be named Z9GT. The car will be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, which opens on April 25. The new car is a global model and will be sold overseas along with Denza’s international layout. From the naming point of view, the brand name Denza represents different types, N for SUV, D for MPV, and Z for sedan. Among them, 9 represents the top-of-the-line flagship product, and the suffix GT represents its different positioning.

Previously, Denza official released the test spy photos of the car overseas. It can be seen that the front face of the car adopts a very simple design, and the headlights are long and narrow. According to the information, the car is designed by the team led by Wolfgang Egger, the global design director of BYD. It is reported that it is not ruled out that the new car will be launched in hybrid and pure electric versions in the future.

The side of the car is a highlight of the new car. It has smooth body lines and a fast-back roof design, which makes it look like it is ready to go. It feels a bit like a “Pamera”. In addition, the overall posture of the new car is very low, and the ground clearance is very low. We also learned that hidden door handles and frameless doors will be applied to the new car.

Combined with previous news, Denza will bring two flagship sedans at the Beijing Auto Show in April. At the end of the second quarter and the beginning of the third quarter of 2024, Denza will conduct technical + listing release for the new models.

Zhao Changjiang, CEO of Denza Motors, once said that the new intelligent luxury flagship sedan is far ahead of Porsche Panamera and Mercedes-Benz S-Class in terms of space, intelligent configuration, comfortable experience and acceleration and handling. The moose test result may be close to 90km/h, and the minimum turning diameter is less than 10 meters. Denza’s new intelligent luxury flagship sedan will be equipped with BYD’s unique leading million-level technology, bringing an unprecedented electric experience to luxury sedans.
