Changan’s sub-brand, Oshan (Oushang) launched its new-gen COS5 (Kesai 5), it is positioned in a small SUV, it is actually a facelift, priced at 53,900 to 65,900yuan (~US$7,766 – US$9,496). The new COS5 has been changed in the front face while the other parts remain the same. Actually Oshan Kesai 5 is based on the Changan CS35 model, it is the rebadging model of Changan CS35.
In terms of appearance, Oshan COS 5 adopts a new front face design, and the current large-size grille is changed to a new honeycomb bar-type design and connected with the headlights on both sides to achieve a visual stretching effect. The lower air intake grille is matched with imitation diversion openings on both sides, which is full of sportiness.
In terms of interior, the new car continues the existing model design, with a large number of physical buttons in the central control area. In terms of configuration, the new COS 5 is equipped with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, an embedded central control LCD screen, a barrel-type mechanical instrument panel, a reversing radar, and a power sunroof.
In terms of body size, the body length/width/height dimensions are 4180*1810*1670mm, and the wheelbase is 2560mm.
In terms of power, the new car will continue to be powered by a 1.6L engine with a maximum power of 94 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 161 Nm. At the same time, the new car will be matched with 5MT and CVT transmissions.
