Recently, we have obtained a set of interior spy photo for HONGQI E-HS3 production version, HONGQI E-HS3 is the first pure EV from Hongqi brand. HONGQI E-HS3 will have three large screen design, the production version of HONGQI E-HS3 will be officially listed in 2019, or sold for 259,800-319,800 yuan. HONGQI E-HS3 will be equipped with two permanent magnet synchronous motors with a maximum power of 114kW and maximum cruising range of 242miles(390km).
For the interior, central control of HONGQI E-HS3 uses symmetrical design, the texture and material looks fine. The center console is equipped with a large independent central control screen, in addition, the LCD panel design style is adopted in the air conditioning panel and the instrument panel.
The front face uses a family-style hexagonal grille design similar to the newly launched Hongqi H5, the headlights on both sides are equipped with a hook-shaped LED daytime running lights.
The tail adopts the currently popular through-type taillights group, and the fog light area below is also designed with air inlet decoration to echo the front face. Rear bumper design is simple, using only a chrome trim.
HONGQI E-HS3 has a length and height of 4490/1874/1613 mm and wheelbase of 2,750 mm. It is a compact SUV. According to the salesperson, HONGQI E-HS3 has a “Fast Charge” function that can charge 30%-80% in 15 minutes.
Power and battery life
The two-wheel drive version is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with maximum power of 114 kW, maximum torque of 340N.m, acceleration of 0-100 km/h is 10 seconds.
The four-wheel drive version is equipped with two permanent magnet synchronous motors (the same front and rear) with maximum power of 228 kW and maximum torque of 680 Nm, acceleration of 0-100 km/h is 6 seconds
Both the two-wheel drive version and the four-wheel drive version use a 52.5 kWh lithium-ion battery. The two-wheel drive version has range of 252miles(407km) under comprehensive working condition, and the four-wheel drive version has range of 213miles(344km) under comprehensive working condition.
Security Configuration
Body stability system (ESC), ramp assist, 6 airbags, are standard configration, front collision warning system, lane departure warning, lane keeping system, blind zone monitoring system are only available in four-wheel drive models.
