On June 28, when the Beijing Automobile Works (BAW) celebrated its 71st anniversary, it was officially announced that its BAW Yuanbao was officially launched. The new car launched a total of 4 models with a price range of 33,900-49,900 yuan. The new car is positioned as a pure electric mini-vehicle and offers two cruising ranges of 120km and 170km.
As a pure electric mini car, Yuanbao features a small square box body shape, which looks cute. Specifically, the new car adopts rounded rectangular LED headlights with a closed front grille design, giving people a simple and lovely image.
The rear adopts a polygonal taillight group, which is highly recognizable. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 3162/1498/1585mm, a wheelbase of 2050mm and a rim size of 13 inches.
The interior design makes Yuanbao look very simple. The center console of the new car is simple in style. It is equipped with a double-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a dual-screen design. Both screens reach 10.25 inches, and the overall visual effect is outstanding. According to different configurations, the car is equipped with intelligent voice interaction, 360° panoramic image, front/rear auxiliary radar, etc.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a lithium-ion power battery pack and provide two cruising ranges (unknown operating conditions), 120km and 170km respectively. At the same time, its suspension structure adopts a combination of front McPherson and rear multi-link non-independent suspension.
