The new car is positioned as a compact SUV, the official said that the car will be officially launched in the second half of 2020. According to the naming rules of the Qoros, the positioning of the Qoros 7 models is higher than that of the Qoros 5 and 3, so the shape, interior and configuration of the new car perform better than the latter two. In terms of appearance, the front face of Qoros 7 inherits the design language of Qoros MILE II concept car. At the same time, the grille of the new car features a very unique shape, its interior uses a design consistent with its brand LOGO style, which also makes the new car look more innovative.
Coming to the side, the overall design of the new car is relatively simple, without too many car sidelines. Its roof curve began to decline after the A-pillar, making its side shape closer to the coupe SUV model. In addition, the new car also uses the popular floating roof design to make it look vibrant. In terms of rims, the new car uses a set of 20-inch diamond-cut rims, which also makes the new car more stylish. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the new car are 4679mm / 1897mm / 1679mm and the wheelbase is 2720mm.
For the interior, referring to the previously released screenshots of the Qoros 7 video and spy photos of the interior, it uses a double-spoke steering wheel with a large central control LCD screen, and the overall shape is very technological. Directly above the center console, it is equipped with an AI artificial intelligence assistant device with a triangular shape and an LCD screen to further enhance the driving experience. From this point of view, we expect that the interior of the production version of the model will be significantly different from the test vehicle.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a new 1.6T turbocharged engine or 1.8T turbocharged engine. The former has a maximum power of 204 horsepower (150kW) and a peak torque of 280 Nm; the latter has a maximum power of 231 horsepower ( 170kW), the peak torque is 300 Nm.
