The 2026 Paris Motor Show officially kicked off on October 12, serving as the stage for AITO to showcase its premium SUV lineup to the European market. The display featured the AITO 6, 7, 8, and 9 models, which correspond to the brand’s domestic M-series vehicles in China.

According to reports, AITO is officially planning its entry into the European market by 2027. The company has already initiated the comprehensive Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA) process required for European Union certification.

Seres Group Chairman Zhang Xinghai previously stated during a shareholders’ meeting on June 25 that AITO is committed to a high-end global strategy. The brand aims to compete in the international premium automotive sector by adhering to five core standards: high safety, high reliability, high performance, high quality, and high value.

Kang Bo, Director and Vice President of Seres Group, has repeatedly emphasized that the company will avoid price wars and low-end market positioning. During a statement on September 15, he reaffirmed the company’s commitment to a steady, high-end international expansion, which culminated in the brand’s appearance at the Paris Motor Show.

Seres currently exports vehicles to over 70 countries and regions across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East, with cumulative exports exceeding 550,000 units. Sales are primarily concentrated in Europe and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets. In February, AITO signed a strategic partnership with Performance Plus Motors, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Motors (ADM) in the UAE, securing an initial order of 200 units. The AITO 9 is already undergoing customer test drives in that region. Looking ahead, Seres has set a long-term goal for international sales to account for one-third of its total global volume.
