NIO(Weilai)’s second production model, NIO ES6, officially started to deliver. The first batch of users from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou received their own ES6 Premier Edition. The model delivered this time is the special limited 6,000 ES6 starting commemorative editions. It offers 70kWh and 84kWh power battery packs, the NIO ES6 will be delivered nationwide, and the Standard version will be delivered in October.
In 2016, ES6 project was launched, and it listed on December 15, 2018. On April 1, 2019, ES6 starts pre-booking. On May 29, 2019, the production model was officially offline. On June 20, 2019, the first round of 8 ES6 starts to deliver.
NIO’s second production EV ES6 going to meet with consumers finally, after the accumulation of ES8’s one-year delivery experience, it seems to that the future of NIO is more worth looking forward to.
Li Bin, the founder, chairman and CEO of NIO, said: “The ES6 is our second mass production model after the ES8. In less than five years, NIO has realized the delivery of two mass production models, fulfilling our commitments. We will continue to do mass production and quality assurance work, and continuously improve customer service satisfaction.”
After a year of development, NIO’s product strength is even stronger. According to official news from NIO, from June 10, NIO has pushed the latest NIO Pilot automatic assisted driving system and NIO OS 2.0 intelligent operating system to their owners.
NIO ES6 was officially listed on December 15, 2018, with a pre-subsidy price of RMB 358,000.
