NIO Released Used-Car System

Among the more than 75,000 users of NIO, some demand for car replacement has been generated, and the second-hand car service system was born under this background. NIO plans to invest 3 billion yuan in personnel, business, service and other aspects in five years.

Li Bin made a comparison at the press conference. According to the data, the value retention rate of NIO and BBA (Benz, BMW & Audi) basically maintained the same level. He said that the core of the used car business is the protection of the greatest interests of existing users. In addition, NIO is about to release new cars and release the used car system in advance, which is also of reference value for users who want to purchase more or redeem.

Li Bin introduced that NIO’s second-hand car business is not profitable. In the long run, it hopes to be self-sufficient and have some meager profits; the core goal is to protect the interests of existing car owners; the business logic is to provide good service throughout the life cycle of users to ensure no price cuts for new cars.
