Changan has officially debuted the new Changan Lumin PLUS in the real world. Also retaining the Chinese name "Nuo Yummi PLUS," this new variant expands the micro-EV lineup by introducing a four-door configuration built upon the foundation of the existing two-door model. Featuring stretched dimensions, a longer wheelbase, and significant interior space optimization, the Lumin PLUS is slated to hit the market in November.

In terms of exterior styling, the Changan Lumin PLUS continues to adopt the core design language of the standard Lumin. The primary updates are concentrated on the front bumper, which now features an integrated air intake structure accented by black trim panels and black air intakes. The signature circular headlights remain, maintaining the model's refined and charming aesthetic. The rear styling stays largely consistent with the two-door version, with tail lights that mirror the design of the front headlights. Additionally, the new model adopts traditional door handle designs.

Dimensionally, the new vehicle measures 3,515 mm in length, 1,715 mm in width, and 1,545 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,200 mm. Compared to the current two-door variant, the overall length has increased by 222 mm, width by 15 mm, and the wheelbase has been stretched by a substantial 220 mm. This growth translates directly into a more spacious cabin and vastly improved rear-seat passenger accommodation.

Inside, the cabin layout largely mirrors the existing model while introducing refined detail adjustments. The Lumin PLUS adopts a new column shifter setup, a steering wheel color-matched to the seats, an updated infotainment UI interface, redesigned door panels, and optimized interior color schemes. The seats are wrapped entirely in leather, further elevating the cabin feel while the rear quarters offer significantly more usable space.

Under the hood, the powertrain remains consistent with the current lineup. It is equipped with a single electric motor delivering a maximum power output of 35 kW (approx. 47 hp) and a peak torque of 85 Nm (approx. 63 lb-ft). It offers CLTC driving range options of 205 km (127 miles) and 301 km (187 miles), and supports fast charging, enabling a 30% to 80% state of charge in just 35 minutes.
