Changan’s all-electric compact SUV, the Qiyuan Q05, is set to launch in Uzbekistan on June 26. The model is already available in the Chinese domestic market, where it is priced between 79,900 and 114,900 RMB (approximately $11,000 – $15,800 USD). As part of its broader global expansion strategy, Changan plans to enter markets in Indonesia, Central and South America, and Europe in the near future.
The Qiyuan Q05 features Changan’s “Digital Wing 2.0” design language, offering a distinct visual identity. It is available in five exterior colors: Pine Green, Gold Purple, Moon Silver, Cloud Grey, and Cloud White. Notable upgrades for the 506 Pro+ trim include a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, as well as massage, heating, and ventilation functions. The 506 Max+ trim now includes a panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade.
In profile, the SUV showcases dynamic waistlines, flush door handles, and new low-drag wheels that enhance its premium aesthetic. The rear is characterized by a full-width taillight assembly and a unique spoiler, adding depth to the vehicle’s design.
Inside, the cabin adopts a wrap-around layout equipped with a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, a 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster, and an 8-speaker audio system. The vehicle measures 4435/1855/1600(1595)mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2735mm. The top-tier “Tianshu” intelligent driving version is equipped with a sophisticated sensor suite, including one LiDAR, three millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 high-definition cameras, powered by the Horizon Robotics Journey 6M chip with 128 TOPS of computing power.
The Q05 is powered by a single electric motor with a maximum output of 120 kW. It comes standard with CATL lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 405 km and 506 km. The vehicle supports 3C fast charging, capable of adding 120 km of range in just 15 minutes.
