Changan has officially launched the Eado Classic Edition, a new variant of its popular compact sedan. The vehicle is priced at 87,900 RMB (approximately $12,150 USD), but with a limited-time cash incentive of 23,000 RMB, the effective price drops to 64,900 RMB (approximately $8,970 USD). To further entice buyers, Changan is offering a package of benefits, including a 499 RMB maintenance plan for two years or four services, lifetime free basic data, and three years of free entertainment data (2GB/month).

In terms of design, the Eado Classic Edition retains the familiar aesthetic of the current lineup. It features a bold, borderless front grille flanked by sharp LED headlights, giving the car a modern, tech-forward appearance.

The rear profile is highlighted by a full-width “Nebula” taillight assembly and a dual-exhaust setup, which adds a touch of sportiness to the sedan’s stance. The vehicle measures 4,770 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,440 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,765 mm.

Inside, the cabin adopts an immersive, wrap-around design. Key interior features include a 13.2-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a multi-function steering wheel, and a yacht-style gear shifter.

The car is also well-equipped with tech features, including a six-speaker audio system and a 540-degree panoramic high-definition camera system that supports 3D display, transparent chassis view, and automated parking assistance.

Under the hood, the Eado Classic Edition is powered by Changan’s latest 1.5T “Blue Whale” engine, featuring 500bar high-pressure direct injection. It delivers a maximum power of 141 kW and 310 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The powertrain is efficient, with a WLTC-rated fuel consumption of 6.4L/100km, and it runs on 92-octane gasoline.
