We got a set of spy photos of BAIC New Energy EU7 recently. BAIC EU7 can be considered as the EV version of BAIC SENOVA Zhidao. As a pure electric car, EU7 adopts the latest design language of BAIC New Energy. The brand LOGO is replaced by the English letter “BEIJING”. According to its rear trunk label “R550”, its cruising range should be similar to that of the EU5 R500, which has a NEDC cruising range of 460km.
In terms of appearance, the spy photos exposed this time has changed significantly compared to the model in the previous report, it is closer to mass production.
For the interior, it features a full black interior color scheme, and is decorated with a large number of chrome-plated elements and piano lacquer materials and wood grain materials in the air-conditioning vents, three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and the handlebar area. EU does not use the same knob-type shifting mechanism as BAIC EU5, instead, it is a conventional gear-lever.
In terms of body size, according to the declaration information, it measures at 4805/1835/1528mm, and the wheelbase is 2785mm, which is positioned as a medium-sized car.
In terms of configuration, EU7 will provide different rear trunk label (different cruising range) and headlight group modeling according to different configurations. It is worth mentioning that according to the rear label R550, its cruising range should be similar to that of the EU5 R550 version, which has a NEDC cruising range of 460km. In terms of power, it will be equipped with a drive motor with maximum power of 218 ps (160 kW), and the power battery is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack.
