We learned from Jiangling Motors Co.(JMC) that the 2020 JMC Yusheng S350 was officially launched, the new car launched a total of 8 models with a price range of 158,200 (~US$22,921) to 181,800 yuan (~US$26,340). The new car has undergone significant changes in appearance, and is also available in gasoline / diesel versions.
Yusheng S350 is a mid-sized 5 or 7-seater SUV, the exported model is named N350, the first model was launched in 2011, it shares platform with Ford Everest or Ranger T6 as well as the JMC’s Yuhu series pickup models, all of them based on the JMC N350 platform.
In terms of appearance, 2020 JMC Yusheng S350 features a new-style front grille, which is composed of the upper brand logo and multiple chrome strips on the lower part. It looks more stylishthan the current model. The lines on the side of the body are very tough, further accentuating the sense of power. In terms of body size, 2020 Yusheng S350 has a length, width, height of 4710/1895/1845mm and a wheelbase of 2750mm.
The rear part of the car also has some adjustments, the style of the taillights is more concise. The thick chrome trim in the middle is marked with the word “YUSHENG” and connected to the light groups on both sides for improved recognition. In addition, the car’s lower surround design details are more complicated.
In terms of interior, 2020 Yusheng S350 features a large-sized central control LCD screen, the physical buttons below are further simplified, together with the vertical air-conditioning air outlet shapes on both sides, the overall layering is full. At the same time, the new car’s interior uses a dark main color and a unique two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, which is no different from the current model. In terms of configuration, the car will also provide practical configurations such as electronic handbrake and ESP.
In terms of power, 2020 Yusheng S350 will provide both gasoline and diesel power. The gasoline version is powered by a 2.0T engine with maximum power of 220 horsepower (162 kW) and a peak torque of 350 N · m. The diesel version is powered by a 2.0T diesel engine with a maximum power of 141 ps (104 kW) and a peak torque of 340 N · m. The new car is mated to a 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic transmission.
