ORA’s new EV, the ORA S11 debuted on Chengdu Auto Show, it is declared to be launched on Oct. 2020, this is the 4th EV from this brand, it is positioned in an A0-class compact hatchback. Its overall outline is quite round, which is consistent with the shape of other models of ORA. The official name of ORA S11 has not yet disclosed, like ORA White Cat, Black Cat (ORA R1), it is more likely to be another “Cat” following up the ORA’s naming system.
In terms of appearance, the overall outline of the new car adopts a more rounded design style, which is more in line with the style of the models sold under ORA brand. Specifically, the headlights of the car adopt an oval shape, with the raised eyebrows and the three-section air intake below, so that the overall recognition of the new car has been well improved.
From the side of the body, the new car adopts the popular two-color body design, with the five-spoke wheel styling, making the new car look very fashionable as a whole. As for the rear, the design of the new car is round and full. At the same time, the large-size trapezoidal license plate area is matched with the straight edge of the trunk cover to further enrich its overall sense of hierarchy. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the new car are 4235/1825/1596mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2650mm.
In terms of configuration, according to the previous declaration information, the new car will provide optional front cameras, active air intake grilles, front radar probes, exterior rearview mirrors with cameras, sunroofs, rear radar probes, etc. in the future. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a TZ153XS000 drive motor produced by United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 143 horsepower. At the same time, it will also be equipped with a ternary lithium-ion battery pack produced by SVOLT.
