Recently, we learned from GWM (Great Wall Motors) official that ORA Lightning Cat (Chinese: “闪电猫”) will be officially launched on October 27th, and the delivery will be started at the same time. The new car is positioned as a medium-sized pure electric coupe, and the exterior design adopts a relatively retro style. It is reported that ORA Lightning Cat will provide two cruising version models, with CLTC cruising range of 500km and 600km respectively, corresponding to battery pack capacities of 63.87kWh and 79.62kWh. It is reported that the price of the new car may be around 200,000 yuan.
In terms of appearance, the front part of the new car adopts a closed grille design, with oval headlights on both sides. On the side of the body, the new car has a length, width and height of 4871/1862/1500mm and a wheelbase of 2870mm.
On the side of the body, the new car adopts the body structure of a fastback coupe, and the smooth roof is integrated with the rear trunk. The new car adopts hidden door handles and double five-spoke petal-shaped wheels, which further increases the fashion sense of the vehicle. At the rear of the car, the taillight group of the new car adopts a quasi-circular design, the rear surround shape echoes the front surround, and the through-type chrome-plated decorative strip below enhances the visual width of the vehicle.
In the interior, the new car adopts a three-barrel-type full LCD instrument panel, and is equipped with a floating design of the central control multimedia display. The center of the center console retains the lower part of the physical buttons and knobs, and the three-spoke multi-function HIA on the steering wheel has a red mode switch button. In terms of power, ORA Lightning Cat is expected to provide two versions of single-motor two-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive, of which the single motor has a maximum power of 150kW.
