On December 5, NIO(Weilai) officially announced its November delivery results. Data show that in November, NIO delivered a total of 2,528 new vehicles, including 2067 NIO ES6 and 461 NIO ES8. As of January-November this year, NIO delivered a total of 17,395 vehicles, of which NIO ES6 delivered a total of 8,986 vehicles, NIO ES8 delivered a total of 8,499 vehicles. Since the delivery started in June 2018, NIO has delivered a total of 28743 vehicles.
Li Bin, the founder, chairman and CEO of NIO, is quite satisfied with this latest sales performance. He said that the sales performance in November depends on several factors: First, NIO’s expanding sales channels. As of the end of November, NIO and partners have opened 37 NIO Spaces and 21 NIO Centers across the country, the sales network covers 41 cities across the country; Li Bin also mentioned that the increase in sales performance is directly related to product competitiveness; finally he believes that the active endorsement of old users-users recommend buying a car is one of the important reasons for the increase in sales of NIO.
According to the sales results of NIO in each month of this year, it can be seen that NIO’s sales volume in the first seven months of this year has changed significantly, the sales in February and July were more than 800. However, since August, NIO’s car sales have steadily increased. The monthly sales in August-November were 1943, 2019, 2526 and 2528, respectively, sales tended to increase slightly. In November, the sales of NIO ES8 also started to rebound, the sales volume in October increased by more than 50%.
In addition to NIO ES6 and NIO ES8, NIO recently revealed its new car plan-the third new model of NIO will be released on NIO Day, which will open on December 28. It is reported that the new model will be launched in the second quarter of 2020, and delivery will begin as early as the fourth quarter. The specific time for listing and delivery will be announced on NIO Day.
