We learned from the Changan Automobile official that Changan Yida (English name “Lamore”) will be officially launched on March 18. The car has already started pre-sales, and will launch 3 variants. The pre-sale range is 89,900 to 110,900 yuan in the Chinese market. Changan Yida is based on the Ark architecture. This is also the second car of Changan Automobile’s Ark architecture. Changan has launched the first car of the Ark architecture, the UNI-V, which can be regarded as the sister model of the Yida.
The overall design of Changan Yida is slender and has a strong sense of fashion, it is much similar to UNI-V. The front face adopts a borderless front air intake grille shape, the interior is equipped with a hollow dot matrix grille. The long and narrow headlights are extended at the end of the light group. The two sides of the front enclosure adopt a longitudinal layout of the ventilation opening design
The shape of the side of the body is smooth, and the combination of the hidden door handle and the bar-type waistline improves the visual length of the side. The rear of the car has a sense of slip-back design, and the end of the trunk is slightly extended to form a shape similar to a duck-tail spoiler. The taillight group is designed with a blackened transparent lamp housing, which has a certain recognition. In addition, the car also retains the two-sided exhaust decoration, creating the characteristics of a sporty model. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4770/1840/1440mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2765mm.
Changan Yida adopts a brand-new minimalist interior style, equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a double-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, and a 13.2-inch multimedia touch screen in the center of the central control. In terms of configuration, the new car will provide automatic induction tailgate, one-button start, automatic air conditioning, air conditioning remote start, rear air conditioning outlet, 4 speakers in the car, OTA vehicle system remote upgrade, cruise control, rear parking radar, reversing Video, right blind spot camera, body electronic stability system, electronic parking, AUTOHOLD automatic parking, TPMS tire pressure monitoring, front seat belts with limited force, etc.
In terms of power, the new car is powered by a new gen of Blue Whale NE 1.5T turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 170 horsepower and a peak torque of 260 Nm. In terms of transmission system, it will match a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a front-wheel drive system, the fuel consumption under WLTC working condition is only 5.99L/100km.
