Changan Automobile announced more official pictures and new car news of the electric model C385. The new car is positioned as a pure electric medium-sized sedan, with a wheelbase of 2900mm, and is expected to be officially launched in the second quarter. In addition, Chongqing Changan New Energy Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. has registered a new trademark called Qiyuan Automobile, and the C385 may be the first model under the brand.

From the appearance point of view, Changan C385 features the new design language. At the same time, the front grille adopts the iconic closed design. With the slender headlights on both sides and the sharp front surround, the visual effect of the front of the car is very high-tech feel.

The official announcement of the car’s height-to-width ratio is 0.78, which brings the visual experience of a wide-body coupe. At the same time, low wind resistance rims and hidden door handles will be used on the side of the body, all of which are in line with the “new energy” design concept.

The shape of the rear is very exaggerated. It not only adopts the design of bar-type taillights, but also the rear wing on the upper edge of the trunk and the lower “T”-shaped surround of the trunk are very novel and highly recognizable.

In terms of configuration, according to previous official announcements, the new car will be equipped with technologies such as APA7.0 remote unmanned valet parking system and electric drive high-frequency pulse heating. Among them, the APA7.0 remote unmanned valet parking system will, under the premise of meeting relevant national regulations, launch the unmanned autonomous queuing parking function outside the garage. Automatically pass through barriers, automatically find parking spaces, and automatically park, without user monitoring throughout the process.

The high-frequency pulse heating technology can solve the range anxiety in winter. It can also be heated to 20 °C in 5 minutes in an extremely cold environment of -30 °C.

It is worth noting that Chongqing Changan New Energy Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. recently registered a new trademark named “Qiyuan Automobile”, and the code-named C385 model will be the first model under the brand.

In addition, according to the product plan previously released by Changan, the EPA1 pure electric platform will also launch three other vehicles including the electric crossover SUV code-named C673 in the future. Achieve the annual sales target of 700,000 units.
