
At the Shanghai Auto Show in 2019, BAIC New Energy(BJEV) brought a small pure electric SUV model EC5, which is a facelift version of EX360. It is the model after BAIC New Energy adopts the new product serial name. It will be listed in June 2019.
The front face uses a grille-less design, and the lower surround is also more in line with the family design. The headlights are simple in shape, the internal structure is clear, and the overall shape is more refined.

However, there are still some changes compared with EX360. The EC5 features a fake grille and the latest family-style “double C” daytime running lights, canceled the front fog lights. In terms of size, the length, width and height are 4122/1750/1583mm, the wheelbase is 2519mm, and the length is 12mm longer than the EX360, curb weight of 1430kg, positioned in a small electric SUV model.
In terms of power, the EC5 is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 80kW (107HP) and a ternary lithium battery pack from FARASIS. The maximum speed is 100km/h and the NEDC’s comprehensive cruising range is 250miles(403km).
