South East Auto debuted a EV model on 2019 Shanghai Auto Show, the Southeast DX3 EV500, it is actually a new variant of Southeast DX3 EV based on DX3 EV400. The appearance of DX3 EV500 is basically the same as that of the DX3 EV400 model being sold, but the range has increased.
The design of the new car is consistent with DX3 EV400 currently on sale. The front grille adopts a fake design as common as other new energy models, and it is connected with the left and right headlights. The tail shape is full and surrounded by black plastic. The shape of the silver anti-scratch guard plate enhances it is a SUV model.
The biggest difference is range, the labeled “DX3 e500” at the tail means the new car’s cruising range is expected to reach 310miles(500km). DX3 EV500 is still equipped with a 90kW electric motor, but it is expected to be carried with a new battery group since the range is increased.
