The new SUV from Landwind, factory code-named E315, will be officially announced on April 1st and will be unveiled at 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. It is reported that the design of the new car is dominated by the design of the Italian GFG company established by the internationally renowned Fabrizio and Giorgetto Giugia, and completed in cooperation with Jiangling Holdings.
In terms of exterior, the front face of Landwind E315 adopts a hexagonal large-sized air intake grille, the inside of the grille is decorated with banners and dotted elements, there is not much silver decoration. The shape of the headlights is also quite special. The split style headlights, combined with the trapezoidal air intake under the bumper, are more radical in design. At the same time, according to previous information, the wheelbase of the car reaches 2760mm, size is between the compact SUV and the medium-sized SUV.
The shape of the side is simple and smooth. The shoulder line of the new car extends from the front wheel eyebrows to tail light, which highlights the sense of power and creates sense of movement. The tail shape is more rounded, there are two exhaust layouts on both sides.
There is yet news about power, but it is very likely to be equipped with the 1.5litre turbocharged engine LW4G15A, the one carried on Landwind Xiaoyao, with maximum power of 120kW/5400-5700rpm and maximum torque of 250Nm/1500-4000rpm, which match the 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox.

Landwind was jointly established by Jiangling Motors and Changan Automobile in 2004. The joint venture company is called Jiangling Holdings Co., Ltd., and each of them holds 50% of the shares.
