In the early years, Haval H5 once became an off-road hot model in Chinese car fans with its cost-effective price, body-on-frame body, electronically controlled time-sharing four-wheel drive, and other cool configurations.
Recently, we obtained a set of hand-painted design drawings of Haval’s new-gen H5 from relevant channels. The new car will adopt a very tough design style or will be officially released in 2020.
In the exterior part, all-new Haval H5 features a very tough design style, the overall body design is very square. The front face design of the new car uses a hexagonal three-branched front air intake grille with round headlights, a round LED daytime running light is also used in the headlight group, creating a strong recognition. The bodyside adopts a bar-type waistline to make it more layered, the tail is also designed with a highly recognizable bar-type taillight design, and the interior uses an LED light source.
It can be seen from the exposed interior image that all-new Haval H5 is also equipped with automatic transmission for the first time and uses a knob-type shift mechanism. The handle in front of the co-pilot reflects the characteristics of the original off-road vehicle.
The Haval H5 currently on sale in the Chinese market is a 2018 model. The entire system is equipped with a 2.0T engine and provides both rear-drive and four-wheel drive. The official guide price range is 107,800 to 136,800 yuan.
The new-gen Haval H5 will be built on the Great Wall Motors new platform, and it is expected to continue to retain the off-road core configuration such as body-on-frame body and time-sharing 4WD. At the same time, its self-developed 2.0T engine will also replace Mitsubishi’s 2.0T, and for the first time add automatic transmission models.
