Since its release in May 2019, Dongfeng Fengshen (Aeolus) Yixuan (奕炫) has become a highly concerned model. As the first vehicle based on CMP platform, Fengshen Yixuan has finally been listed on September 9. The new car has launched a total of four models, the official guide price of 74,900-109,900 yuan (~US$10,528 – US$15,448).
Dongfeng Aeolus Yixuan is the mass production version of the e.π concept car. The overall design of the new car is biased towards the dynamic style. For example, the front face part uses a large number of oblique lines designed with exaggerated “fangs” on both sides. The side line of the new car adopts a slip-back design, it is reported that the body drag coefficient is only 0.25Cd. In terms of body size, the new car has a width and height of 4660/812/1490mm and a wheelbase of 2680mm.
In the interior section, the car will be available in titanium-black, and black / red, creating a stylish and sporty look. The car features a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a 7-inch color LCD instrument panel, and a 10.25-inch floating central control panel. In addition, the car will also be equipped with an L2 level driver assistance system and an upgraded version of the WindLink car system.
Aeolus Yixuan offers two power versions, 1.0-liter turbo three-cylinder engine and 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine. The maximum power is 92kW (123hp) and 110kW(147hp) respectively. The peak torque is 196N·m and 230N·m respectively.
Suspension structure: Fengshen Yixuan features a torsion beam type non-independent suspension. The advantage is that the layout saves space, so we can see that the width of the tail box and the space of the rear seats are superior.
