CHANGAN’s recently launched models are also getting better and more fashionable. Now CHANGAN will also launch its new model, CHANGAN CS15, which is expected to be officially launched later this month.
Changan Auto announced that its new compact SUV model CS15 will be launched on March 21th, the main change is on the front face and new design of interior, body size remain same with old model.
CS15’s front face inherits its family’s latest design feature “DIEYI” (butterfly wing) design, the family design has been embodied on many CHANGAN models since its sedan model Raeton CC. As a mid-term remodeling model, the side and tail of the new CS15 have not changed significantly compared to the old models.
In terms of body size, the new CS15 has a length and height of 4135/1740/1630mm and wheelbase of 2520mm. Compared with the old model, the wheelbase has increased by 10mm, which is expected to increase slightly in the space. The new CS15 features a new interior layout with three multi-function steering wheels, a large-size central control LCD screen, a through-type air conditioning vent, and knob control buttons.
The new CS15 is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, the maximum power is 78.5kW(105hp), the maximum torque is 145Nm, the transmission system is matched with 5MT gearbox or a 5-speed dual clutch transmission. It’s a little mediocre in terms of power, but as a small vehicle, this kind of power is not too much problem to pull its body.
