Changan CS75’s new replacement model, the CS75 PLUS, is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2019. CS75 PLUS has been unveiled at 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. It features a new family-style design and will be available in both regular and sports versions, with 1.5T and 2.0T engines.
The appearance of Changan CS75 adopts the latest Changan Auto family-style design, and the front face is replaced with X-shaped air intake grille, which is sleek and stylish. The new CS95 and the previously listed CS85 COUPE also use the same design.
In the regular version, the chrome trim is on the grille, and the sports version is a black honeycomb design, which is more recognizable than the regular version. The front bumper is also designed on both sides, with red paint and through-type daytime running lights.
The lines on the side are smooth, the two versions are not much different, only some differences in the style of the outer frame and the wheel. In terms of size, the length, width and height are respectively 4670/1865/1700 (1710) mm, and the sports version is extended to 4700 mm; both wheelbases are 2710 mm, which is 10 mm longer than the current model.
The interior is also refreshed, with a large area of leather wrap in red and black contrast, which is more luxurious than the current model; the center console is equipped with a large display including both instrument panel and infotainment display.
The CS75 PLUS is powered by a 1.5T or 2.0TGDI engine. The 1.5T has a maximum power of 175 hp. The latter has a maximum power of 229 hp and a peak torque of 360 Nm. The transmission system is matched with the 6AT or Aisin 8-AT gearbox.
