In 2020, Changan Automobile is committed to maintain the strong power of last year and continue its strength. According the Chinese media, Changan Automobile has determined to launch 5 new vehicles this year, including three new energy models.
Changan EADO PLUS:
Changan EADO (Yidong in Chinese spelling) PLUS will be listed on March 17 this year. The new car is the first sedan under the Changan PLUS series and is positioned as a compact car like Changan EADO. In terms of appearance, the new car uses the latest family design language.
In terms of appearance, Changan EADO PLUS will provide two different styles of front faces. Among them, the models with chrome bars on the front face are mature and stable, and more refined. At the same time, both sides of the front face are also designed with larger air inlet shapes, creating a stronger visual impact for the front face shape.
In terms of the rear end, the new car design is relatively simple, but the decoration of the lines creates a good sense of layering. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the new car are 4730mm / 1820mm / 1505mm, and the wheelbase is 2700mm.
Changan E-Rock:
The Changan E-Rock was originally scheduled to be launched in January this year, but due to the corona virus, the new car will be delayed. Changan E-Rock is positioned as a compact SUV, battery pack is provided by BYD, and NEDC comprehensive range will reach 605 km.
In terms of appearance, Changan E-Rock is based on the Changan CS55 PLUS. The appearance is basically as same as CS55 PLUS, but the details have been adjusted. The front face features a closed grille shape, which highlights its identity as a new energy model; at the rear of the body, the new car uses the popular sharp backlight design, which is highly familiar when lighting on. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the Changan E-Rock are 4515mm / 1860mm/ 1690mm, and the wheelbase is 2650mm.
In terms of interior, the 10.25-inch centre-controlled LCD screen and the 10-inch full LCD instrument create a strong sense of technology in the car. In terms of power, the Changan E-Rock is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of 218 horsepower and an NEDC cruising range of 605 km.
Changan UNI-T:
Changan UNI-T is positioned as a compact crossover SUV, with a strong sense of overall technology and future. The new car will be officially debuted at the Geneva Motor Show, which will open in March 2020.
In terms of appearance, Changan UNI-T features a more technological and advanced design style. The front face of the new car adopts a “borderless” design black grille composed of diamond elements as a whole. The headlights of UNI-T are narrow, and the front grille shape is particularly forceful and intense. In addition, the front bumper is also equipped with irregularly shaped split headlights, and the engine cover is designed with overhanging beams to make the front face shape very familiar.
In terms of size, Changan UNI-T has a length and width of 4515mm / 1870mm and a wheelbase of 2710mm. It is positioned in a compact SUV. In addition, 17-inch and 19-inch wheels are officially available. In terms of power, the new car is expected to use the new Blue Whale 1.5T engine and 2.0T Blue Whale engine.
Changan E-Star:
Earlier, we has got spy photos of Changan E-Star. In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car adopts a closed grille design with sharp edges and corners. At the same time, the new car uses full LED headlights. The headlight design matches the front face shape very well. At the rear, the new car is equipped with an E-Star logo at the rear, highlighting its new energy identity.
In interior part, Changan E-Star is young and advanced. The central control part is equipped with a 10.25-inch dual screen, which adds a lot of sense of technology to the vehicle. At the same time, the new car also uses a handle-type shifting method.
In terms of power, the official revealed that the complete range of the new car will exceed 300km.
Changan E-Life:
Earlier, we have got test spy photos of new Changan EADO EV model. The new car is hooked with two badges, “EADO E-Life” and “E-Life” at the rear of the car. We assume that the new car will adopt a new naming method.
In terms of appearance, the new car uses a closed grille design to easily highlight its new energy model identity. The shape of the rear of the car has not changed much. The tail lights are connected by a black trim bar, which widens the rear of the car visually. In terms of size, the new car is 4740mm / 1820mm / 1515mm long and has a wheelbase of 2700mm.
In terms of design, the new car will provide configurations such as a wide sunroof and various styles of wheels. In terms of power, the maximum power of the motor on the new car is 120kw (160hp). In terms of battery range, referring to the previous models, the NEDC full mileage of the new car may exceed 500km.
