SWM Motors launched 2019 SWM G01 F-Edition today in China market, comparing with the current model, 2019 SWM G01 F-Edition keep the same power system, it is powered by 1.5-Liter 4-Cylinder turbocharged engine independently developed by SWM Motors itself, with maximum power of 115kW (154hp) and peak torque of 220Nm. In terms of the chassis, it also continues the front/rear independent suspension. (Updated: SWM G01 F is listed in Chinese market with price range at 95,900 – 125,900 yuan (~US$13,825 – US$18,150))
SWM G01 was developed by SWM Motors’ design team at the Design and Development Center in Milan, Italy, based on the new G platform. SWM G01 made its debut on 2018 Chengdu Motor Show.
The SWM G01 was designed by KOVOS SOTIRIOS, the former chief designer of Toyota Europe and Audi chief designer, who works now in SWM’s design and development center of Milan, Italy.
SWM G01 and G01 F-Edition has very much difference in front face, G01 F-Edition can be considered as the sport version of G01, 2019 SWM G01 F-Edition keep the same appearance, but added red and blue colors. Honeycomb large mouth grille, elongated body, sport body kit, sharp lines, maintains G01 F-Edition’s sporty style.
In interior, it still uses yellow and black two-tone design, leather seats, as well as full LCD dashboard, color central LCD screen are still configured, adding a lively temperament in the low-key luxury style, visual impact is more obvious.
2019 SWM G01 F-Edition adds power tailgates and rear privacy windows. Size of SWM G01 : 4610×1855×1725 2750, curb weight: 1560kg. Price range of 2019 SWM G01 F starts at 95,900 end 125,900 yuan.
