On the eve of 2019 Shanghai Auto Show, SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) released its new brand badge. On July 11, two new Baojun RC-6 and RM-5 were successfully got offline at SAIC-GM-Wuling Baojun Base in Liuzhou, China. SGMW created a new record of achieving a total production and sales of 20.25 million vehicles.
Baojun RM-5:
At the 2019 Chengdu Motor Show, SGMW brought its brand-new two vehicles, the brand-new MPV Baojun RM-5 and the mid-size sedan Baojun RC-6 on the 2019 Chengdu Motor Show, and kicked off sale. We have follow-up reported both vehicle from our past several post:

The price range of the new Baojun RM-5 is 86,800-120,800 yuan (~US$12,202 – US$16,982), while the price range of the new Baojun RC-6 is 84800-123,800 yuan (~US$11,921 – US$17,404), these are the first two models launched after Baojun changed with new badge, absolutely, they are going upmarket.
Both Baojun RM-5 and RC-6 are powered by the same 1.5T engine, max. power of 108kW(145hp) /5200rpm and peak torque of 230N.m/2200~3400 rpm, matching with 6 manual or CVT gearbox.

Body size, RM-5: 4705mm 1806mm 1645mm, wheelbase of 2750mm, RC-6: 4925/1880/1580mm, wheelbase of 2800mm.
For the interior, the new Baojun RM-5 is designed with a deep and dark color, while the central control is complemented by soft material covering and 8-color variable ambient lights to create a stylish and dynamic interior atmosphere. RM-5 features a twin display, the 12.3 inch instrument panel and 10.25inch central control infotainment, while RC-6 features dual 12.3inch instrument panel and floating central infotainment display.

The new Baojun RM-5 and RC-6 are equipped with urban and high-speed dual-scene adaptive cruise solutions. The ACC adaptive cruise (including fixed-speed cruise) function can not only achieve full-speed coverage from 0 to 130km/h, but also automatically adjust the speed according to the front car. The combination of the 77 GHz long-range millimeter-wave radar and the multi-function high-definition camera makes the identification of people, cars and roads ahead more precise. In order to ensure the safety of driving at night, the LED headlights are equipped with the same level of leading IHMA intelligent far and near light switching to improve night driving safety. TJA traffic congestion assistance, ICA high-speed intelligent piloting, LKA lane keeping assist, LDW lane departure warning, BCA corner cruise assist, TSW speed limit warning and TSA intelligent speed limit assist are also available.
