The vehicle is available in four trim levels, with a limited-time introductory price ranging from 109,800 to 133,800 yuan. Moreover, Baojun has announced that all future models will come standard with intelligent driving systems, starting with the Yunhai.

The Baojun Yunhai showcases a fresh design language characterized by a minimalist yet fashionable front fascia. The vehicle’s youthful appeal is accentuated by the triangular headlights positioned on either side of the grille. The most notable visual distinction between the pure electric and plug-in hybrid variants is their front grilles. The plug-in hybrid model, equipped with an internal combustion engine, necessitates a larger, horizontally oriented grille and more pronounced side surrounds. In comparison, the pure electric model’s closed-off grille contributes to a more cohesive frontal appearance.

The vehicle measures 4590mm in length, 1880mm in width, and 1608mm in height, with a 2750mm wheelbase, contributing to its compact side profile. The Baojun Yunhai comes standard with 18-inch wheels. The rear end is equally sporty, featuring a rear spoiler, a bar-type taillights, and a heavily blacked-out rear bumper for a strong sense of layering.

Baojun Yunhai’s interior exudes a minimalist aesthetic, the continuous air conditioning vents create a visually striking and layered center console. The standard 8.8-inch and 15.6-inch dual-screen setup, combined with the near absence of physical buttons, contributes to a clean and modern cabin.

A standout feature of the Baojun Yunhai is the standard-equipped Lingmu 2.0Max intelligent driving system, jointly developed with DJI. This advanced system leverages a hardware suite comprising dual cameras, a standard camera, and 12 ultrasonic radars to create a comprehensive visual perception solution. Beyond providing Level 2 driving assistance, the system enables a range of autonomous functions, including automatic ramp entry and exit, traffic light recognition, memory parking, and automated parking maneuvers.

Baojun Yunhai is available in both plug-in hybrid and pure electric configurations. The plug-in hybrid model employs a powertrain consisting of a 1.5L internal combustion engine producing a maximum power output of 106 hp and peak torque of 130 Nm, complemented by a single electric motor delivering 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque. The vehicle is equipped with either a 9.5 kWh or 20.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, providing a pure electric range of up to 60 or 140 kilometers under the CLTC testing protocol.

The pure electric variant is powered by a front-mounted single electric motor generating a peak power output of 204 hp and maximum torque of 310 Nm. It is offered with either a 56.7 kWh or 69.2 kWh battery pack, enabling a CLTC-rated range of up to 500 or 600 kilometers, respectively. Both powertrain options support a 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) function, allowing users to power external devices such as lights or small appliances.
