On February 5th, we learned from the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that the SAIC Volkswagen pure electric sedan ID.7 S mass production model has officially applied to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the declaration drawings of the new car have been publicly released. As the flagship pure electric sedan launched by SAIC Volkswagen, the ID.7 S has a length of over 5 meters, reaching 5026 millimeters. The car is based on the MEB pure electric platform and is positioned as the pure electric flagship sedan of the Volkswagen brand. In terms of design, it adopts the Volkswagen ID. series family design, with slender headlights, a closed front grille, and raised lines on the engine cover, which is very stylish. At the same time, the trapezoidal front bumper visually brings a stronger stability.

The lines of the new car are smooth and dynamic. It has a shorter front overhang and a slightly longer rear overhang. The body length, width and height are 5026/1864/1537mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2966mm. Except for the body height, all other body parameters exceed those of the previously launched FAW-Volkswagen ID.7 VIZZION. At the same time, the car also has a fastback design, which is more sporty. The rear design is also very simple, with a ducktail tailgate and layered lines.

In terms of power, the car uses a drive motor with the model number EEV produced by Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 170 kilowatts. We will continue to pay attention to more information about the new car.
