
On January 21, SAIC Volkswagen’s ID.4 X model officially announced the price. A total of 5 models of the new car were launched, price range was 199,888-272,888 yuan after subsidy. The new car is the first ID. series model introduced by SAIC Volkswagen and is a sister car to FAW-Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ. The car is built on the Volkswagen MEB platform and is positioned as a compact pure electric SUV. In terms of cruising range, it is offered in 3 range versions: 402km, 520km and 555km.

In terms of appearance, the appearance of SAIC Volkswagen ID.4 X has been localized based on the international version, and the overall design is different from FAW-Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ. The front face of the new car adopts an “X” contour design, and the lower bumper shape is more sporty; the side of the body has smooth lines, and the raised waistline matches the two-color body, creating a good fashion atmosphere.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4612/1852/1640mm, and the wheelbase is 2765mm. The rear of the car is quite three-dimensional, and the bar-type taillights are blackened, which is quite recognizable when lit. The lower bumper has a very design sense, and the silver trim on both sides adds a stylish atmosphere.

In terms of interiors, the new car uses straight lines and corners to form a geometric style. The minimalist design style better highlights the technological attributes of this electric car. At the same time, both cars are equipped with suspended LCD instruments and central control screens, and the knob-like handlebar is integrated with the right side of the instrument. The shape is very innovative.
In terms of power, SAIC Volkswagen ID.4 X has three power versions and two drive mode. Among them, the maximum power of the single-motor version is 125kW and 150kW, and the peak torque is 310N·m; the maximum power of the dual-motor version is 80kW and 150kW, and the peak torque is 460N·m. The new car NEDC can provide three options of 402km, 520km and 555km under comprehensive working conditions.
