Recently, we learned from SAIC MAXUS that the 2019 MAXUS D90 has been officially listed. The new car has launched a total of seven models, with a price range of 156,700-249,000 yuan (~US$22,662 – US$36,010). The new car basically continued the design of the old model, and did not make too many adjustments.
In terms of appearance, 2019 MAXUS D90 basically continued the design of the old model, and only made adjustments in the details. The front face uses a large polygonal mouth design, and the interior is exquisitely chrome-plated with a muscular front bumper. From the side, the shape of the new car is still tough, in line with the style of its body-on-frame tough SUV.
2019 MAXUS D90 has length, width and height of 5005/1932/1875mm and wheelbase of 2950mm. The body length and wheelbase of the new car have certain advantages in the same segment. Judging from the rear end, the LED taillights of MAXUS D90 adopts a blackened design as well as a silver lower guard and a bilateral chrome-plated two exhaust. The combination of rich lines makes it look sporty.
In terms of interiors, 2019 MAXUS D90 features an all-black color scheme with a 12.3-inch floating touch screen and a four-spoke flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel, the overall visual effect is good.
MAXUS D90 is the mid-large size SUV, slotting in above MAXUS D60 as a flagship SUV model in MAXUS lineup. In order to meet the needs of more consumers, Maxus D90 offer a variety of seat layout options such as 5/6/7-seats layout.
In terms of configuration, 2019 MAXUS D90 provides off-road guards, off-road wheel eyebrows, headlights decorative colors, smoked black taillights, paint calipers, front bumper lower trim panels, luggage compartment net pockets, auxiliary gauge handles, and foot pads. In addition, higher trim level model will also be equipped with active noise reduction system.
In terms of power, 2019 MAXUS D90 is powered by a 2.0T petrol engine with maximum power of 165kW (221hp) and peak torque of 360N·m. The transmission system is matched with 6-speed AMT gearbox or a 6-speed manual transmission.
