At the just-opened Chengdu Auto Show, SAIC MAXUS officially released its new medium and large SUV – MAXUS LINGDI (means “Territory”). The new car will launch a 5/6/7-seat combination to meet the needs of different consumers.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a new design style, which is more avant-garde and hard-core overall. Specifically, the car adopts the popular split headlight group design, with a large polygonal front grille, which makes the car look very atmospheric. At the same time, the official also added the MAXUS logo on the front edge of its engine cover to improve the vehicle’s recognition.
At the rear, the car adopts the current popular bar-type taillight group design, with a total of two bilateral exhaust layouts at the bottom, and a large-size embedded trapezoidal license plate area. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 5046 (5214)/2016/1876mm, and a wheelbase of 2950mm. It is positioned as a medium and large SUV.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T twin-turbo diesel engine produced by Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. with a maximum power of 160 kilowatts. It is worth mentioning that the new car has the ability to tow, the original factory comes with a trailer hook, and the total mass of the trailer is 2500kg.
