Recently, SAIC MAXUS G70 made its debut and is positioned as a mid size MPV with options for both 6-seater and 7-seater models. The 6-seater model features a unique 2+1+3 seat layout, supporting various usage scenarios such as Queen’s seat, mobile conference room, children’s playground, and cute pet world. It is positioned as an urban family MPV. The new car will be launched at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show.

In terms of appearance, SAIC MAXUS G70 features the latest family style front face, with a very aggressive and futuristic design. The trapezoidal large mouthed grille features diamond shaped embellishments on the inside, and a continuous daytime running light on the top, complemented by a unique design on both sides of the front bumper, leaving a deep impression. Below, there are lens headlights that integrate with the decorations on both sides.

In terms of vehicle size, the new car has a length, width, and height of 4900/1885/1756mm respectively, a wheelbase of 2960mm, a hidden door handle, an electric side sliding door, and a hidden track.

The rear of the vehicle features bar-type taillights with impressive boomerang designs on both sides. The rear also features the MAXUS English logo, and the entire tailgate has a large opening size for easy loading and unloading of items.

In terms of interior design, the new car’s interior design is relatively simple, eliminating physical buttons as much as possible. The car uses a popular floating triple screen+8155 chip combination, and the instrument panel, central control panel, and passenger seat three screens are all 12.3-inch LCD screens. The AliOS intelligent vehicle system equipped with it can integrate functions such as vehicle control, navigation, entertainment, communication, and app applications, and supports full scene voice control, including 4-zone and continuous voice command control, It also has panoramic images and a transparent chassis. The shortcut buttons are set below the center console and provide a wireless charging area for the phone. The entire center console includes a continuous air conditioning outlet.


In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a SAIC Blue Core NF2 2.0T engine, with a maximum power of 172kW and a maximum torque of 360N · m, accelerating from 0-100km/h for 8.8 seconds, and a comprehensive fuel consumption of 8.5L/100km. The 65L large fuel tank can provide a range of over 750 kilometers, matched with a SAIC 9-speed automatic transmission and equipped with an electronic gear shift. The new car also adopts a rear multi link independent suspension.
