At the just-opened 2019 Shanghai Auto Show, Hanteng Autos released a fuel cell vehicle Hanteng FCV. The new car is built on Hanteng X7 PHEV and maintains a high degree of similarity in appearance. The new car will use a hydrogen fuel cell power system.
Hanteng FCV is built on the Hanteng X7 PHEV, and the two models are highly consistent in design. In terms of body size, Hanteng FCV has a length, width and height of 4775/1902/1697mm and a wheelbase of 2810mm.
There is no obvious change in the interior shape as well, and it is equipped with a more technically-friendly configuration such as knob shifting, full LCD instrument panel, mobile phone wireless charging and inductive tailgate. The all-black color is used in the car, and the combination of dark imitation wood plaque and painted panel is more fashionable than the solid wood panel on X7 PHEV.
In terms of power, Hanteng FCV is powered by a GH40 hydrogen fuel cell engine and a rear-drive motor independently developed by Hanteng Autos. The GH40 hydrogen fuel cell engine has a maximum power of 42kW (56HP), a rear-drive motor with a maximum power of 140kW (187HP), a maximum torque of 320N·m, and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 11 seconds.
