FAW Bestune T33 debuted at the event recently, T33 was positioned as a small SUV, using the latest family-style design language. It is reported that the new car will be launched in the third quarter of 2019, when the specific configuration and price will be announced.
From the appearance, the design elements are entirely from the Bestune T77, grille and new LED headlights combination looks very sharp. Of course, the new “Window of the World” bardge is also embeded in the center of the grille.
The new car also has a larger refresh in the rear end. The taillights are polygonal in shape and the center is connected by a silver trim strip. Bestune T33 has a length, width and height of 4330/1780/1680mm, and the wheelbase is consistent with the Bestune X40, which is 2600mm.
The interior of the new car adopts the design concept of “Loop, Thin, Light, and Hanging”, which uses the horizontal through-line from the door panel to the instrument panel. The U-shaped chrome trim adds an ambient light display on both sides. Equipped with a full LCD instrument panel and a 10.25-inch floating central control panel. In terms of configuration, the new car also provides all-in-one LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, electronic parking, push-button starter, tire pressure monitoring, automatic air conditioning.
In terms of power, Bestune T33 will continue to use the 1.6L naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that powered by X40. The maximum output is 114 ps and the peak torque is 155 Nm. In terms of gearbox, the car will continue to pair the current 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic manual transmission from Aisin.
