AIWAYS officially announced its 2019 Shanghai Auto Show’s lineup. AIWAYS will bring AIWAYS U5, Gumpert Nathalie and a new concept car to the visitors. The new concept car from AIWAYS will make its world debut on Shanghai Auto Show.
According to the previous news, AIWAYS U5 will be officially listed at the end of 2019. The appearance of the AIWAYS U5 production model is quite close to the previously released U5 ION concept car, the vehicle ratio and many details are preserved. The new car features a closed front face with a black grille for heat dissipation at the bottom of the car; the overall line is smooth, the towering waistline runs from the front to the rear.
Size of AIWAYS U5: 4680/1880/1680mm, wheelbase: 2800mm, curb weight 1750kg.
Interior of AIWAYS U5 goes with is a simple way, basically straight lines, there are not too many curves to outline, the overall layout still restores the interior shape of the concept car. The new car is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD central control panel, uses a full LCD instrument panel; the upper and lower flat multi-function three steering wheel also looks very distinctive.
In terms of technology configuration, AIWAYS U5 is equipped with L2 level assisted driving, intelligent network connection, OTA online upgrade function, and also supports face recognition, 360 panoramic image, APA automatic parking and other functions.
In terms of power and battery life, AIWAYS U5 has a maximum power of 140kW (190PS, 188HP), a maximum torque of 315 N·m, battery capacity of 63kW·h, battery pack energy density of approximately 170Wh/kg, with NEDC range of 279miles(460km), optional battery pack available to upgrade to 347miles(560 km).
The Gumpert Nathalie sports car
Gumpert Nathalie, a fuel cell electric sports car owned by AIWAYS, will be unveiled on 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. This sports car is built by Roland Gumpert, the inventor of Audi quattro. It is full of sci-fi and has a strip of headlights on the front face surrounded by lines, it has a black front lip and a large area of the brake air vent. The two raised ribs of the hood are full of power.
Gumpert Nathalie is a double-door coupe, the tree-like shape large-sized wheel hub is very good, with both texture and strong performance. Six round taillights are mounted at the rear of the car, which is highly recognizable and surrounded by an exaggerated spoiler. The overall effect is very aggressive.
Gumpert Nathalie uses methanol hydrogen fuel cell, equipped with four-wheel four-motor independent full-time four-wheel drive technology, each motor has a maximum power of 102kW (139PS, 137HP), maximum torque of 230N·m, maximum speed of 12800rpm, the transmission is matched with two-speed deceleration structure. There are two forward gears (most pure electric vehicles use a single-speed gearbox), which allows the vehicle to have a higher speed. According to the official, it claimed a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 2.5s, the top speed is 300km/h.

AIWAYS History
In 2015, Foxconn and Tencent Holdings jointly created Future Mobility with a total investment of 1 billion yuan to engage in business of new energy vehicle. First established is Future Mobility Corp (FMC), Dai Lei(Dr. Daniel Kirchert) and Bi Fukang(Dr. Carsten Breitfeld) are the executives, then formed another company named AICHE, Fu Qiang is the CEO.
