
The Dongfeng Fengshen (Aeolus) AX7 PHEV version was debuted at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show earliest, but it has not yet listed yet till now. 2019 Fengshen AX7 PHEV is based on the latest Fengshen AX7 fuel version, it looks no different from the current fuel version. The car is positioned in a compact SUV above AX5.

There is no obvious difference between AX7 fuel version and PHEV. it adopts a family design language with large size grille and the long and narrow headlights, and uses only the exclusive blue painted LOGO element to prove its PHEV identity.

On the rear part, the 2019 Dongfeng Fengshen AX7 PHEV adopts the currently popular bar-style taillights, and using LED light source. PHEV version is labeled “AX7 PHEV” at the right side of the rear end.
In terms of body size, the length and height of the car are 4695/1850/1727mm and the wheelbase is 2710mm. It is also equipped with four 225/60 R18 tires.

In terms of power, AX7 PHEV is powered by a plug-in hybrid system consisting of DFM A14T 1.4-liter turbo engine, maximum power of 98kW(131hp), a drive motor with maximum power of 80kW(107hp) and a 13 kWh capacity lithium battery.

With this powertrain, the car has a variety of working modes such as pure electric drive, hybrid drive, engine independent drive, brake energy recovery, and parking power generation.
The official claimed 0-100km/h acceleration time is less than 11 seconds, the max. speed is 175km/h, the pure electric range is more than 32miles(52km), and the fuel consumption under NEDC is less than 2L/100km.
