On October 18, 2019, 2020 Changan Raeton CC was officially launched, it has a new Chinese name “锐程CC”, Raeton CC facelift launched a total of five models, with a price range of 94,900-128,900 yuan (~US$13,410 – US$18,214).
In terms of appearance, the front face of the new Raeton CC has been adjusted. For example, the front grille is further widened, the grille is integrated with the headlights. At the same time, the air inlet design with L-shaped chrome strip is added to the front side, it is connected with the air inlet below, which widens the visual effect of the front.
The side of the new Raeton CC did not change too much, the design of the double waistline runs through the entire body, making it look like a forward dive. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4800/1825/1465mm and a wheelbase of 2770mm. Compared to the current model, the length of the new car has increased by 20mm. The official said that the new car has 520L of trunk space. In the tail, the new car was replaced with two exhaust vents on both sides, which increased the sporting attributes, the overall tail shape remains unchanged, the visual effect is full, the irregular taillights are also internally LED light sources, which also echo the headlights.
For the interior, Raeton CC facelift has a dark interior color that is biased towards the interior style of a family car. Regarding to the interior layout, the new car is matched with piano paint panel + metal trim, which looks stylish and beautiful. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with a floating central multimedia system, car air purifier, and 360° panoramic image system. In addition, the new car has a certain improvement in NVH, and the sound insulation effect inside the car is better.
In terms of power, new Raeton CC continues the existing 1.5T engine, with a maximum power of 154 hp and peak torque of 225 Nm. The transmission system is matched with 6-MT or a 6-speed AT transmission. In terms of chassis, the new car features front MacPherson-type independent suspension + rear multi-link independent suspension.
