On June 10, we obtained the filing information for the all-new, locally produced, long-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz electric C-Class from the latest Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) catalog. Based on previous reports, the vehicle will be built on the dedicated MB.EA electric architecture and feature an 800V high-voltage platform.

In terms of exterior design, the new model adopts Mercedes-Benz’s latest design language. The front end features a large shield-shaped grille composed of numerous LED lighting units, a signature design element for Mercedes-Benz’s new generation of pure electric vehicles. This retro shield-style shape serves as a modern interpretation of the classic chrome grille. Furthermore, based on information from overseas versions, the vehicle is expected to be equipped with a front trunk (frunk) to enhance storage capacity.

From the side, the vehicle features a sleek, coupe-like fastback silhouette. The slightly flared front and rear wheel arches create a wide-body visual effect that aligns with modern aesthetic preferences. Additionally, the car is equipped with flush door handles to optimize aerodynamic performance. At the rear, the vehicle utilizes a full-width taillight assembly with the Mercedes-Benz logo positioned in the center, complemented by a subtle ducktail spoiler on the trunk lid, further enhancing its youthful appeal.
Regarding dimensions, the new electric C-Class measures 4977 (or 4990) mm in length, 1876 mm in width, and 1510 (or 1493) mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3051 mm. Tire options include 235/50 R19, 255/45 R19, 235/45 R20, and 255/40 R20. In terms of powertrain, the C 350 L is equipped with a dual-motor setup produced by Bosch/Mercedes-Benz (model numbers EM0041/EM0037), delivering maximum power outputs of 163 kW and 300 kW, respectively.
