Chery Fulwin T6 has been officially launched, with a total of three models available at prices ranging from RMB 129,900 to RMB 156,900 (~US$17,891 – ~US$21,610). The new car is a compact plug-in hybrid SUV with a CLTC pure electric range of 120km and a fuel consumption of 4.9L/100km when the battery is depleted.
Exterior
The exterior design of Fulwin T6 is very similar to that of the Chery Explorer 06 C-DM, but the front grille design has been simplified. The split headlight design is still familiar, and the new front face is more concise.
The side of the car adopts a suspended roof design and hidden door handles. The body dimensions are 4540/1865/1670mm, with a wheelbase of 2672mm. The rear of the car is also a familiar design, with a bar-type tail light and a racing flag-like design for a sporty feel.
Interior
The interior continues the minimalist design style, but pays more attention to the use of materials, including a 14.8-inch suspended central control screen with a built-in 8155 chip. The three-spoke multi-function steering wheel is wrapped in leather and there is an LCD instrument panel and HUD head-up display in front of the driver. In addition, there is a bar-type air outlet on the center console. There is a wireless charging panel under the center console and a large storage space below.
Powertrain
The new car will use a plug-in hybrid system, with a maximum power of 115kW for the 1.5T engine, a maximum power of 150kW for the motor, a system comprehensive power of 265kW, and a peak torque of 530Nm. It adopts a single-motor layout and is equipped with a CATL lithium iron phosphate battery. The CLTC pure electric range is 120km, the WLTC comprehensive range is 1300km, and it can be fast charged from 30% to 80% in 0.32 hours. The fuel consumption when the battery is depleted is 4.9L/100km.
