On June 13, the new Baojun RS-7 was officially unveiled at the 2020 Chongqing Auto Show. The new car is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV with a wheelbase of 2900mm. In the future, it will provide 6-seat and 7-seat versions with a 1.5T engine.
In the exterior part, the new car adopts the latest family-style design language. The octagonal grille has been blackened and presented a straight waterfall shape. The headlights on both sides are slender and narrow, creating a sharp look, and the recognition is also significantly improved.
In the rear part of the car, Baojun RS-7 adopts a small-sized tail light group design, the tail door is left blank for a large area, creating a simple and convergent feeling. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a total of two bilateral exhaust. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new Baojun RS-7 are 4930/1975/1765 (1775) mm, and the wheelbase is 2900 mm.
In terms of interior, the center console uses a design similar to that of the new Baojun RC-6 model. The most eye-catching place is the use of one-piece dual screens, which effectively improves the sense of technology. In addition, the layout of the central T-shaped area and the co-pilot area of the new car is more capable. With the flat-bottom double-spoke multi-function steering wheel and the two-color trim panel, it brings a certain sense of warmth.
The previous declaration information shows that the new Baojun RS-7 will provide 6 seats/7 seat layout, reversing images, panoramic sunroof, rear privacy glass, front parking radar, panoramic images and different types of wheels. In terms of power, the new car is powered by a 1.5T engine code-named 280T, with a maximum power of 177 horsepower and meeting the national six emission standards.
