On August 7, Geely Automobile released sales data showing that the Group’s sales volume (including Lynk & Co) was 91,375 units in July this year, an increase of about 1% from the previous month and a decrease of 24% from the same period last year. Among them, 4,476 vehicles are new energy and electrified vehicles, and the four products of Emgrand EV, Jiaji MHEV, Xingyue MHEV and Geometry(Jihe) A account for about 65% of the total sales of new energy and electrified vehicles.
The data further shows that Geely Group’s total sales was approximately 87,386 units in July in China market, a decrease of approximately 26% from the same period last year. However, there has been a certain increase in exports, with exports growing by more than 59% year-on-year to 3,989 units in July.
In terms of specific models, the sales of the Geely Emgrand family in July was 25,867 units, the sales volume of Geely Borui was 1,434 units, the sales volume of Geely Boyue was 1,506 units, the sales volume of Jiaji was 3,456 units, the sales volume of Xingyue was 3,034 units, and the sales volume of Binyue was 10,671 units, Binrui was sold by 5,120 cars and the Vision family sold 17,093 cars. In addition, Geely’s Lynk & Co brand sold 8,186 units in July, and another large pure electric brand Geometry(Jihe) A sold a total of 1,076 units.
In terms of accumulation, in July of 2019, Geely Group’s cumulative sales volume was 743,055 units, down 16% from the same period, which was 55% of the revised sales target of 1.36 million units. Among them, the total sales volume of new energy and electrified vehicles was 62,076 units, an increase of 181% year-on-year.
