GAC Honda today unveiled the e:NP2 Enhanced Edition at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show. The new model is priced at RMB 189,800.
As the second pure electric vehicle from GAC-Honda, the e:NP2 Enhanced Edition is based on the e:N Architecture pure electric platform and incorporates the “e:N Design” one-touch future design concept, combining the design advantages of sedans and SUVs.
Exterior Design
The exterior of the e:NP2 Enhanced Edition features a sporty front bumper and C-shaped headlights that give it a sharp look. The side of the car features a large-angle slip-back design, which reflects the dynamic styling and youthful and sporty positioning of the car. The body dimensions are 4787/1838/1570mm, with a wheelbase of 2735mm.
Interior Design
The interior of the e:NP2 Enhanced Edition is very flexible, with one of the highlights being the removal of the front center console, which allows for flexible entry and exit for the front passengers. The car also features a high driving position and an optimized instrument panel design, providing the driver with a clear and open view of the road. The car is also equipped with a 12.8-inch central control screen and a thin instrument panel, along with a HUD head-up display, for a simple and clear display effect. The trunk has a capacity of 506L.
Features
The e:NP2 Enhanced Edition is equipped with the Honda CONNECT 4.0 Intelligent Guidance and Interconnection System, which ensures the safety of the vehicle by monitoring the surrounding environment, protecting the occupants, and diagnosing the vehicle’s condition. The system can also automatically match personal cabin settings through facial recognition, and the humanoid voice assistant can interact with the vehicle with 17 expressions and 7 tones. The car also features a number of “firsts” for Honda cars, including Honda’s in-car gesture control function, in-car selfie/automatic upload of car accident photos in case of an emergency, child left-behind detection and reminder function, fragrance system, intelligent heating system, and 220V external power supply function.
Honda SENSING
Also worth mentioning is the Honda SENSING intelligent driving assistance system, which will also be available on the car. The system includes a series of safety driving assistance systems such as RDM lane departure suppression, LKAS lane keeping assist system, ACC active cruise control system, and automatic high beams.
Powertrain
The e:NP2 Enhanced Edition is powered by a 68.8kWh battery pack with a CLTC range of 545km. The motor produces a maximum power of 150kW and a maximum torque of 310Nm.
