GAC Honda has officially announced a major milestone in its 28-year history in China, surpassing 11 million cumulative terminal sales. Since its establishment in 1998, the joint venture has become a cornerstone of the Chinese passenger vehicle market. Following the production of its first locally manufactured Accord, the brand has steadily expanded its portfolio to cover sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and the new energy vehicle sector. Key models such as the Accord, Odyssey, Breeze, and Integra have consistently maintained strong positions in their respective segments, cementing their status as classics within the joint venture landscape.

Lin Zhibin, Deputy General Manager of GAC Honda, previously noted that approximately 80% of GAC Honda vehicles older than 10 years remain on the road today, a testament to the brand’s renowned product durability. Thanks to this reputation for reliability, GAC Honda models consistently rank among the industry leaders in terms of resale value and long-term vehicle retention. The brand has established a comprehensive service network with over 1,000 authorized dealerships nationwide, providing a full lifecycle of support from purchase to maintenance.
Currently, GAC Honda is accelerating its transition toward electrification and intelligent technologies. The company is continuously expanding its lineup of hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric models while increasing the adoption of advanced driver-assistance systems. Reaching the 11-million-unit sales mark serves as both a validation from millions of customers and a new starting point for the brand’s ongoing transformation and upgrade.
