Recently, we obtained a batch of declaration information for the production version of Chery Exeed LX model from the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology China. Exeed LX is the second mass-produced SUV model from Chery’s new brand. It will be powered by Chery’s 1.6T engine with the maximum power of 145kW (194hp).
In terms of appearance, the design of the production model is inspired by the Exeed LX concept car released in 2018. Among them, the design of the front is relatively wide, the upper air intake grille is narrow and long, connected with the front headlights on both sides, it is integrated with the chrome trim strip and front badge to form a narrow visual effect. The size of lower parts of air intake grille is much larger, the shape is square, and the center has a multi-layered gray grille trim for decoration, which adds visual impact to the front face.
On the side, Exeed LX has maintained a standard SUV shape, with length, width and height of 4533/1848/1699mm and wheelbase of 2670mm. In the rear end, it is very square, and the family-style bar-style taillights are still used. In addition, the new car also uses bilateral double exhaust design.
In terms of interiors, with reference to previous news, the overall design of the interior design of Exeed LX is relatively simple, and the physical buttons of the center console have been greatly simplified. The new car also adopts a fashionable twin screen, that’s the instrument panel and multimedia display are integrated into one piece, which has a certain sense of technology.
In addition, Exeed LX is available in three different sizes and shapes in wheel rims, with tire sizes of 215/60 R17, 225/60 R18 and 225/55 R19. In terms of power, Exeed LX will be powered by a 1.6T engine with maximum power of 145kW (194hp).
