Recently, we obtained a set of teaser images an all-new vehicle from Changan Oshan (Oushang) brand. It is reported that the car may be named Oshan X5. The new car will be powered by a blue whale NE1.5T direct-injection engine and will be launched in 2020.
Teaser images cover the solid color camouflage, but the package is very close to the body, so it is easy to see the overall outline. The car’s daytime running lights are slender in shape and straight. In the side part, the smooth and dynamic body waistline runs from the headlights to the taillights, extending upwards, depicting the body attitude of the SUV model diving forward, inferring from the dynamic style of the body, the user is positioned as young consumers.
The roof part adopts a streamlined design, the roofline continues to decline from the B pillar to the rear. The tail line shows a clear sense of upturn, the sports tail is matched with an S-shaped cross-section design to further enhance the sports atmosphere.
In terms of power, according to sources, Oshan X5 will be powered by the blue whale NE 1.5T direct-injection engine, which is the same as Changan’s new SUV, the UNI-T. Previous data show that the maximum power of the blue whale NE 1.5T direct injection engine is 180 horsepower (132kW), the peak torque is 300Nm, the thermal efficiency reaches 40%, which meets the CN-6b emissions. It can be inferred from the millimeter-wave radar in the front that the new car is also equipped with ACC adaptive cruise function, the vehicle will be launched in 2020.
