At the opening of the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show, Zotye’s compact SUV, Zotye A16, was officially released. Recently, we learned from relevant channels that Zotye A16 is expected to be officially listed in the third quarter of this year, when the official name of the new car will be announced.
Zotye A16 might be the first model uses its own design language, it was known by Chinese as the copycat vehicle maker in China (check here: Zotye – China’s Famous Copycat Automaker, How Many Vehicles he copied?). It uses the so-called latest 3.0 family-style design, it is much similar to the i-across production version. The LED headlights are of split design with a chrome-plated strip in the middle, the front side is surrounded by vented holes.
The rear end is equipped with a through-LED taillight that echoes the style of the front. The length, width and height of the vehicle are 4625/1840/1618mm, the wheelbase is 2700mm, which is slightly smaller than Zotye T500.
Power is not yet unveiled. We will continue to pay attention to more news about this new car.
