Recently, JAC officially released some images for a new car design (code-named S432), which is positioned in a mid-size S6-seater SUV to meet the current family car demand, the car will be available in the second half of this year. It is worth mentioning that this new SUV is designed by the team of JAC Design Center, it is designed with a completely new family style, and based on the design concept of “simple and balanced”, anyway the design style is much similar to its new sedan, JAC Jiayue A5.
In terms of appearance, the new car features a new family design style including the cascading front grille shape with the raised ribs on the front engine compartment cover, the flat and slightly rising daytime running lights which enhances the front to a certain extent, and the 3D face sensor. At the same time, it uses the popular split headlamp design.
Considering the car body elements, the contours of the daytime driving and the taillights echo, a sharp waistline runs through them, subtly improving the sense of stability of the entire vehicle. At the same time, the roofline of the new car is pushed down slightly from beginning to the end and equipped with a rear spoiler, which further reduces the car’s wind resistance and improves fuel economy. Further, the smooth design of the top arc fully guarantees the rear seat space.
At the rear, although only a few details are shown this time, we can still see that the overall shape has added more angular lines, it is expected that the visual experience will be tougher. At the same time, it uses the currently popular bar-type tail light group, which not only widens the horizontal visual effect but also enhances the sense of tail layering. In terms of power, no more details have been officially announced, and we will surely keep a track of it in the future.
