WEY has officially released the first images of the new WEY Gaoshan 7, showcasing a vehicle that bridges the gap between the current Gaoshan 7 and the larger Gaoshan 8. While the core powertrain remains consistent with the existing model, the new iteration introduces notable enhancements in dimensions and exterior styling.

In terms of dimensions, the new Gaoshan 7 measures 5,149 mm in length, 2,005 mm in width, and 1,925 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,085 mm. Compared to the current Gaoshan 7 (5,050/1,960/1,900 mm), the new model is longer, wider, and taller, though it retains the same 3,085 mm wheelbase. For context, the flagship Gaoshan 8 measures 5,280 mm in length with a 3,145 mm wheelbase.

The exterior design has undergone a refined update. The front bumper has been optimized to reduce the reliance on chrome accents, featuring a more pronounced front lip that lends a sportier aesthetic. Along the side, the chrome side skirt trim has been removed for a cleaner look, while the rear bumper has been redesigned to incorporate a new diffuser-style element. The front retains the signature waterfall-style grille, with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor visible. The rear features a distinctive full-width taillight assembly complemented by vertical light clusters, ensuring high brand recognition.

Under the hood, the vehicle continues to utilize a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system. It delivers a combined output of 337 kW (452 hp) and 644 Nm of torque. The vehicle offers a WLTC-rated pure electric range of 172 km. Fast charging capabilities allow the battery to go from 30% to 80% in 25.8 minutes, and the MPV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.
